Strategy Analytics’ SpecTRAX database is an extensive proprietary resource consisting of two key datasets; specifications and
availability data. The specifications contained in SpecTRAX cover over 300 attributes relating to over 23,000 announced
smartphone, mobile phone, tablet, smartwatch, mobile hotspot and USB dongle SKUs. Over 150 new device models are added
manually to the database each month, as and when they are announced by the OEMs. Devices are marked as available if they
appear on the portfolio of any of the 300 network operators/retailers whose websites we track in 48 countries on a daily basis.
Strategy Analytics’ PriceTRAX database tracks mobile device retail pricing across 48 countries and contains over 50 million unique smartphone, mobile phone, tablet and smartwatch prices dating back to 2010. Retail pricing (unsubsidised, prepaid (PAYG) and post-paid (contract)) is scraped weekly and linked directly to devices within the SpecTRAX database.

Strategy Analytics will continue to monitor device announcements and alert SOMC in the event that any changes to the proposed marketing claims are required
