Location of saved contacts

You can choose whether you want to save your contacts in your phone memory or on your SIM card. You can copy contacts from your SIM card to your phone memory or vice versa. This is very useful when you want to transfer your contacts to a new phone.

To save a contact on the SIM card or as Outlook Contact:

1. Select Start > Contacts > New.
2. Select an option.

Note: Contacts saved on the phone in Outlook Contacts can contain photo, email etc. Only the name and a phone number can be stored for each entry saved on the SIM card.

To copy a contact or more from your SIM card to your phone memory or vice versa:

1. Select Start > Contacts.
2. Tap Menu > Select Contacts and select All, or Several to choose one by one.
3. Tap Menu > Copy Contact and select an option.
