To send an SMS message:

  1. Tap Start > Messaging > SMSMMS.
  2. Tap Menu > New > SMS.
  3. Tap the To: field and enter a phone number, or tap Menu > Add Recipient to select a contact.
  4. Write your message, then tap Send.
