How do I create an NFC tag and share it?

To create and share an NFC tag, you have to make sure that NFC function is turned on and the phone screen is active. You create a tag with the Tags application, and then you need to enable sharing of tags.

To turn on the NFC function

  1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
  2. Find and tap Settings > Wireless & networks.
  3. Mark the NFC checkbox.

To create a tag

  1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
  2. Find and tap Tags > My tag > Add new tag.
  3. Select the type of tag you want to add.
  4. Tap Save. The tag is added to the Manage my tags list and is made your current tag.

To share a tag

  1. Make sure that the NFC function is turned on and that the phone screen is active.
  2. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
  3. Find and tap Tags > My tag.
  4. Mark the Share my tag checkbox and place your phone’s NFC detection area on the NFC detection area of the other device.
  5. When done, unmark the Share my tag checkbox.
