Get Internet and messaging settings

For most cell phone networks and operators, messaging and Internet settings come preinstalled on your phone. In some cases the settings are downloaded the first time you turn on the phone with your SIM card inserted. You can manually add and change Internet and messaging settings in your phone at any time, or you can get the settings sent to your phone automatically, via the setup wizard.

To access the setup wizard:

• Select Menu > Settings > General > Setup wizard.

To manually add Internet settings:

1. Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Internet settings > Internet profiles > Connect using > Options > Create new.
2. Enter Name and APN, and select Save.

Note: Contact your network operator if you need more information about your subscription settings.

To manually add messaging settings:

1. Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Message settings > Multimedia message.
2. Select New profile > Add.
3. Enter a Profile name and a Message server. Select Connect using and select a data account. Select Save.

Note: Contact your network operator for the correct Message server information. You may need to manually set up a data account.
