Use the keypad

To enter text:

1. As you type, the phone will suggest words above the keypad. Tap a word to use it, or tap the arrow icon to see more suggestions.
2. If a different writing language is needed, tap the settings icon in the lower right corner, and then tap Writing languages. Select a language from the list and press the Back key.

Useful tip:

• To close the keypad at any time, press the Back key.
• When you enter text, tap the arrow icon in the lower left corner to shift between uppercase (filled) and lowercase letters (unfilled). To turn on caps lock, tap it twice (filled and with a dot).
• To edit existing text, touch and hold the text field until the Edit text menu appears, and then select an option.
• To use the landscape keypad, if supported by the application, turn the phone sideways.
