Set up your phone the first time

The first time you start your phone, you’re able to enter basic phone settings.

Note: All settings can be accessed and changed later on.

Set up your phone for the first time

To set phone language:

1. Scroll through the available languages list and tap the language you want to use in your phone.
2. Tap Next.

To receive Internet and MMS settings:

• Tap Accept > Next.

To set the time and date:

1. Tap Change.
2. Unmark the Automatic checkbox if it is marked.
3. Tap Set date or Set time.
4. Tap the + and - icons to adjust the date or hour and minute.
5. Tap Set.
6. If you want to use AM and PM, unmark the Use 24-hour format checkbox.
7. Tap Done to return to the Setup guide.
8. Tap Next.

To learn about some key functionality in your phone:

1. Tap View to learn how to use the keys or the on-screen keyboard.
2. Tap Next
3. Tap View to learn about the applications in your phone.
4. Tap Next.

Connections:

1. Tap Import to import contacts from the SIM card to the phone.
2. Tap Set up under one of the categories to enter settings for wireless network, Google™ account, Email, Facebook™, Sony Ericsson Sync or Twitter™. All of these settings can be modified later if you wish to skip this step.
3. Tap Next.
4. Tap Finish to exit the setup guide when you are finished.
