Manage applications

Sometimes you may need to clear data for an application. This may happen if, for example, the application memory becomes full, or you want to clear high scores for a game. To save phone memory space, move larger applications to the memory card.

To manage applications:

1. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Applications > Manage applications.
3. Tap the desired application.

• To uninstall the application, tap Uninstall.
• To clear data from the application, tap Clear data.
• To view permissions, scroll down to view Permissions.
• To clear all cache for an application, tap Clear cache.

Note: It is not possible to clear the cache for some applications.

To view memory status:

1. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Applications >Storage use.
3. The internal storage is shown at the bottom of the display.
4. To view the memory status on the memory card, tap On SD card.

To move applications to the memory card:

1. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Applications >Manage applications.
3. Tap the desired application.
4. If available, tap Move to SD card.
