Install non-Market applications

Use the Download application to easily install downloaded applications. Make sure you only install and give permission to applications you trust, since applications can damage your phone.

To install non-Market applications:

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon.
  2. Find and tap Downloads.
  3. Tap the desired application and follow the instructions on your phone to complete the installation.

To allow the installation of applications from unknown sources:

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon.
  2. Find and tap Settings > Applications.
  3. Mark the Unknown sources checkbox.
  4. If consent, tap OK.

Note: By default, your phone is set to block installations from unknown sources.
