Usage that affects the battery performance

You can optimise the battery performance by following the useful tips below.

Useful tips about battery performance:

  • Lower the update frequency for RSS, Twitter™, and Facebook™, to improve the battery performance. On your phone: From the Home screen, find and tap LiveView™ Application > Customise tiles. Tap a category > Update frequency and select an option.
  • Battery performance is affected by the amount of events. Select which events to display. On your phone: From the Home screen, find and tap LiveView™ Application > Customise tiles and unmark some checkboxes.
  • The vibrator consumes a lot of battery power. Turn off the vibrator to increase the battery life. On your phone: From the Home screen, find and tap LiveView™ Application and unmark the Vibratecheckbox.
  • Having your LiveView™ micro display disconnected, but still on, for example at night, improves battery performance. On your phone: From the Home screen, find and tap LiveView™ Application > Manage LiveView™. Tap LiveView to disconnect.
