If the message Accessory not supported is displayed when you connect a wired portable handsfree to your phone, your handsfree may have a connector type that is not supported by your phone.
If your new phone came with a portable handsfree, try using that. Alternatively, you can buy an adapter which enables you to use your existing wired portable handsfree with your new phone. Contact Customer support. Get in touch by clicking Contact us at the bottom of the page.
Tip: There are different standards for wired portable handsfree devices. Some handsfree manufacturers use OMTP. Your new Xperia phone requires the newer CTIA standard. The two standards are not compatible.
