Can I uninstall preinstalled applications?

No, you can uninstall downloaded applications, but preinstalled applications can only be disabled. When you disable an application, it’s inactive, placed at the end of the list of applications, and removed from the Application screen. You can enable the disabled application again if you want.

To disable or enable a preinstalled application

  1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
  2. Find and tap Settings.
  3. Tap Apps > All.
  4. Select the application that you want to disable or enable.
  5. Tap Disable or Enable.

Note: It is not possible to disable some preinstalled applications.

To delete an installed application

  1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
  2. Find and tap Settings.
  3. Tap Apps.
  4. Select the application that you want to delete.
  5. Tap Uninstall.

Note: It is not possible to delete some preinstalled applications.
