Why didn't my alarm go off?

The alarm does not sound if your phone is turned off. If your phone is on and your alarm didn’t go off:

• Check that your alarm is set to play even when the phone is in silent mode.
• Make sure the loudspeaker is working.
• Check that your alarm is not set to mute.
• Check your alarm volume settings.
• Your alarm went off during a phone call.
• Check the quality and volume for the alarm sound you’ve selected.

To set alarms to sound when the phone is in silent mode

1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Alarm, then tap to select an alarm.
3. Mark the Alarm in silent mode checkbox, then tap Done.

To unmute an alarm

1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Alarm, then tap to select an alarm.
3. Unmark the Mute alarm checkbox, then tap Done.

To customise alarm volume

1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Alarm, then tap to select an alarm.
3. Mark the Customize volume checkbox.
4. Tap the Alarm volume scroll bar and drag it to the desired position.
5. Tap Done.

Note: If you don’t customise alarm volume, the default alarm volume is set in Settings > Sound > Volume > Alarm.
