Use Wisepilot™

Your phone comes with a trial period of the Wisepilot™ mobile GPS navigation application. The length of the trial period and map coverage varies according to region. After the trial period you can extend your use of Wisepilot™ with a subscription.

From the start menu, tap My Wisepilot > My services to view your test license.

Note: In order to use Wisepilot™, mobile Internet settings are needed in your phone.

To start and activate Wisepilot™:

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon.
  2. Find and tap Wisepilot.
  3. Tap Download to download the latest version from Market™.
  4. In Market, tap Update > Accept & download.
  5. Tap Open when the application is successfully installed.
  6. If you accept the end user agreement, mark the I have read and accepted the end user agreement checkbox and tap >.
  7. If wanted, enter your email address. Then tap >.
  8. If wanted, unmark the checkbox to not send SMS. Then tap >.
  9. The setup is complete and your subscription details are shown. If wanted, tap Quick guide to access tips and tricks, or tap > to continue to the start page.

Note: The first time you use Wisepilot™ it can take between 5-15 minutes until your location is found.

To get directions to a destination using Wisepilot™:

  1. In Wisepilot™, tap Find and select an option:
    • Near me – find points of interest near your location; select a category or tap the text field and enter what you are looking for.
    • Person – find a person; tap the Country field, then tap the text field and enter who you are looking for.
    • Business – find a business; tap the Country field, then the text fields and enter what you are looking for.
    • Address – find a specific address; tap the Country and City or Postal code fields, then tap the text field and enter what you are looking for.
    • Intersection – find an intersection; tap the Country and City or Postal code fields, then tap the text fields to enter what you are looking for.
    • Position – find a position; tap the text fields to enter the coordinates for longitude and latitude.
  2. If needed, tap Find and select the type of directions. The phone starts to calculate the fastest route.
  3. Press the Menu key to access the menu, for example, to add additional stops on the way, like the nearest food stop or petrol station, to share the directions with a friend, or to view the weather.
