Use widgets, applications and shortcuts

Change the appearance of your Home screen and what you can access from it. Add widgets or shortcuts that you can use directly on your Home screen. For example, shortcuts can be to an application, a bookmark or to a playlist. Widgets are small applications that you can use directly on your Home screen.

To add widgets to the Home screen:

1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Tap Add > Widgets.
3. Tap a widget.

To create a shortcut on the Home screen:

1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Tap Add > Shortcuts.
3. Tap a shortcut.

Tip: Add application shortcuts directly from the Application screen by touching and holding the application.

To delete an item from the Home screen:

• Touch and hold an item until it magnifies and the phone vibrates, then drag the item to the Trash icon on the bottom of the screen.
