Take a photo

To take a photo using the camera key:

  1. Press and hold the Camera key to activate the camera.
  2. If the still camera is not selected, tap the Camera icon.
  3. Press the Camera key halfway down to use auto-focus.
  4. When the focus frame or frames are green, press the Camera key fully down. The photo is automatically saved on the memory card.

To take a photo by tapping the screen:

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon.
  2. Find and tap Camera.
  3. If the still camera is not selected, tap the Camera icon.
  4. To display all settings, press the Menu key.
  5. Tap Touch capture and select On if it is not already selected.
  6. Tap a spot in the viewfinder where you want the focus to be. The photo is taken as soon as you release your finger. The photo is automatically saved on the memory card.
