The phone lock code protects your phone against unauthorised use if it is stolen and the SIM card is changed. To be able to switch the phone on, you must enter the four-digit phone lock code. The Sony Ericsson default phone lock code is ’0000′, but you can change this to any 4-8-digit personal code. When you buy the phone, the phone lock is by default turned off.
Note: For security reasons, your operator, retailer or Sony Ericsson Contact Centre cannot retrieve the lock code through the phone or the network. If you forget the code, locked phones must be sent to a service centre.
