Download applications

You can download all kinds of applications from Google Play™, including free applications. If you pay for an application through Google Checkout™, the application is tied to your Google™ account so that it can be installed an unlimited amount of times on any device.

To download a free application:

1. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon.
2. Find and tap Google Play.
3. Find an item you wish to download by browsing categories, or by using the search function.
4. Tap the item to view its details.
5. Tap Install.
6. The application you want to download may require access to your data, or control of any functions on your phone. Read the permissions carefully because the functionality of your phone may be seriously affected if you proceed. Tap Accept & download if you agree, or tap the x to the right of the downloading progress bar if you wish to cancel the download.
7. When downloaded, tap Open or drag down the status bar to access the application.

Tip: Mark the Allow automatic updating checkbox to automatically get the latest updates for the application.

To download a paid application:

1. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon.
2. Find and tap Google Play.
3. Find an item you wish to download by browsing categories, or by using the search function.
4. Tap the item to view its details.
5. Tap the blue button with the price to start download.
6. Tap Add payment method and select an option. Follow the instructions on your phone to complete your payment method.
7. When given a payment method, tap Accept & buy to start downloading the application.

Note: Some applications require access to certain parts of your phone in order to work properly. Make sure you only install and give permission to applications you trust, since some applications may misuse their permissions by stealing or deleting data, or reporting your location.
