Transfer files using a USB cable with Media Go™

Use compatible Sony Ericsson software to easily transfer music files to your phone. Just install the software on your computer. Go to PC Companion and follow the installation instructions that appear.

Note: Avoid to removing the USB cable from either phone or computer during transfer, since this may corrupt the memory card.

To transfer content using Media Go™:

1. Connect the phone to a computer with a USB cable supported by your phone.
• On the computer: If first use of PC Companion, select Install and follow the instructions. Then click Start in the Media Go™ descriptor to download the application and follow the instructions.
• On the computer: If Media Go™ already is set up, click Start in the Media Go™ descriptor to start the application.
2. On the computer: Wait until the phone appears in Media Go™.
3. Move files between your phone and the computer in Media Go™.
4. When done, close Media Go™ and disconnect the USB cable.

To drag and drop content between the phone and the computer:

1. Connect the phone to a computer with a USB cable supported by your phone.
2. On the computer: Wait until the phone memory and memory card appear as external disks in the file explorer.
3. Move files between your phone and the computer.

Tip: You can transfer files by using a USB cable on most devices and operating systems supporting a USB Mass Storage interface.
