Update your phone over the air using Remote Update Service

You can get a software update directly to your phone.

Requirements for updating over the air

  • Phone that supports in-phone Update Service.
  • A charged battery (over 50%).
  • Internet (WAP) settings.
  • GPRS, EDGE, 3G or HSDPA are strongly recommended due to transmission time.

The cost of updating the software directly to your phone over the air is your operator’s fee for transferring the data to your phone. This varies widely between different operators; if you are uncertain you should contact your operator. The size of the download is about 1 to 5 MB. The size of the download is shown in your phone before the download starts.
