Turn off the ringtone

To turn off the ringtone:

• Press and hold the Power key on the top of the phone, then tap Silent mode.
• Press and hold the down the Volume key until the volume bar is empty and the Ringer volume icon has a x next to it.

To set the vibrating alert:

1. From the Home screen, find and tap Settings.
2. Tap Sound & display.
3. Mark the Phone vibrate checkbox.

Tip: When in silent mode, press the Volume key up once to activate the phone vibrate mode.
