Set up corporate email, calendar and contacts

For you to access the functionality described, your corporate information must be stored on a Microsoft® Exchange server. Contact your corporate network administrator for information. You may need to enter your domain, user name, password and server name, so it’s recommended to have this information available.

To set up corporate email, calendar and contacts in your phone (Android™ 2.1):

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon.
  2. Find and tap Settings > Accounts & sync.
  3. Make sure the Auto-sync checkbox is marked.
  4. Tap Add account > Moxier Mail.
  5. Tap >.
  6. Enter your corporate email address, user ID and password.
  7. Tap > to verify your account. If your account is found, move on to step 9.
  8. If your account is not found, complete the setup manually. Enter the required information, such as domain, user name, password and server.
  9. Mark the checkboxes for the items you want to synchronise.
  10. Tap Profile and select a synchronisation mode. Then tap Save.

To set up corporate email, calendar and contacts in your phone (Android™ 2.3):

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon.
  2. Tap Settings > Accounts & sync.
  3. Make sure the Auto-sync checkbox is marked.
  4. Tap Add account > Exchange Active Sync.
  5. Enter your corporate email address and password.
  6. Tap Next.
  7. If the settings for your corporate account are not found automatically, complete the setup manually. Enter the required information, such as domain, user name, password and server. Tap Next.
  8. When the setup is done, enter a name for this corporate account, so that it is easily identifiable. Then tap Done.
  9. You may get a question to activate the device administrator. This is because your corporate server needs to control certain security features in your phone in order for the setup to work.

Note: We recommend that you enable data traffic over mobile networks. From the Home screen, tap the Application screens icon. Then find and tap Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks. Mark the Data enabled checkbox. Enabling data traffic might incur data traffic charges. Contact your network operator for information about your data traffic costs.
