Transfer files using a USB cable

To transfer content using Media Go™:

1. Connect the phone to a computer with a USB cable supported by your phone.
• On the phone: If first use of Media Go™, tap Install PC Companion. On the computer: Follow the instructions, then click Start in the Media Go™ descriptor to download the application and follow the instructions.
• On the phone: If Media Go™ already is set up, tap Connect your phone. On the computer: Click Start in the Media Go™ descriptor to start the application.
2. On the computer: Wait until the phone appears in Media Go™.
3. Move files between your phone and the computer in Media Go™.
4. On the phone: To disconnect the USB cable safely, drag the status bar downwards and tap Turn off USB storage > Turn Off and disconnect the USB cable.

To drag and drop content between the phone and the computer:

1. Connect the phone to a computer with a USB cable supported by your phone.
2. On the phone: Tap Connect your phone.
3. On the computer: Wait until the phone memory and memory card appear as external disks in the file explorer.
4. Move files between your phone and the computer.
5. On the phone: To disconnect the USB cable safely, drag the status bar downwards and tap Turn off USB storage > Turn Off and disconnect the USB cable.

Note: When the phone card is mounted to the computer, the phone can’t access the memory card. Some functionality and applications in the phone, such as the camera, may not be accessible.

Tip: You can transfer files by using a USB cable on most devices and operating systems supporting a USB Mass Storage interface.
