Can I insert a smiley in messages?

When you want to use smileys in messages, you need to personalise the on-screen keyboard to make the Smiley key appear.

To personalise the on-screen keyboard

  1. Open the on-screen keyboard, then tap the Personalise keyboard icon.
  2. Follow the instructions to personalise your on-screen keyboard, for example, mark the Smiley key checkbox.

Tip: If you don’t mark the Smiley key checkbox when you personalise the on-screen keyboard, the smiley icon will not appear.

To insert a smiley

  1. When you enter text, tap the Smiley key.
  2. Select a smiley.
