To insert the SIM card and battery

Warning: To avoid damaging the SIM card slot, make sure that you insert the SIM card with the cut-off edge placed as the illustration shows.
Note: This phone supports standard SIM cards. If you have a micro SIM card, you need to use a SIM card adapter.

Inserting the SIM card and battery to Sony Xperia™ U

  1. Remove the back cover, then insert the SIM card into its slot with the gold-coloured contacts facing down.
  2. Insert the battery according to the illustration.
