Unable to detect a Wi-Fi® network

If your phone does not detect a Wi-Fi® network, try the following:

  • Move closer to the Wi-Fi® access point. The access point is the device that provides the Wi-Fi® network.
  • Make sure that the 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi® standard is enabled on the access point. See the user guide for the device.
  • Make sure that the Wi-Fi® network is visible (SSID is broadcasted).
