Use the on-screen keyboard
To use the on-screen keyboard:
- Change the character case and turn on caps lock. For some languages, this key is used to access extra characters in the language.
- Close the keyboard view.
- Display numbers and symbols. Touch and hold to display smileys
- Enter a space.
- Open the input settings menu to change, for example, the Writing languages or Quick text settings.
- Enter a carriage return or confirm text input.
- Delete a character before the cursor.
