Change writing language

You can change the language the phone uses to present word alternatives and correct words as you type.

To change writing language using the on-screen keyboard or the slide-out keyboard:

1. When you enter text:
• On-screen keyboard: touch and hold the Settings menu key (monkey-wrench) in the bottom right corner.
• Slide-out keyboard: press or press and hold the Settings menu key (Globe) in the bottom right corner.
2. Tap Writing languages and select the languages you want to use for writing.
3. When done, press the Back key to return.

Tip: If you have selected more than one input language, tap the Settings menu key in the bottom right corner to switch between the selected writing languages. You can also change the input method by touching and holding the text input field.
