Turn on/off the phone

To turn on the phone:

1. Press and hold down the Power key on top of the phone until it vibrates.
2. If your screen goes dark, press the Home key or press the Power key briefly to activate the screen.
3. To unlock the screen, drag the lock icon to the right across the screen.
4. Enter your SIM card PIN when requested, and select OK.

Tip: Your SIM card PIN is initially supplied by your network operator, but you can change it later from the Settings menu. To correct a mistake made while entering your SIM card PIN, press the Delete key.

To turn off the phone:

1. Press and hold down the Power key until the options menu opens.
2. In the options menu, tap Power off.
3. Tap OK.
