Secure the water and dust resistance
In order for your phone to be water and dust resistant, the covers for the micro USB port and the headset connector must be firmly closed.
Never submerge the mobile phone, the micro USB port or the headset connector in water, expose the mobile to any liquid chemicals, or expose your mobile phone to moist environments with extreme high or low temperatures. If water or liquid gets on the micro USB port and the headset connector, wipe it off with a dry cloth. The water resistance of the micro USB port and headset connector are not guaranteed in all environments or conditions.
To secure the water and dust resistance:
- Close the water resistance cover (under the battery cover) firmly.
- Make sure the covers for the micro USB port and the headset connector are firmly closed.
Note: All compatible accessories including batteries, chargers, handsfree devices, micro USB cables, microSD™ cards, lanyards and so on are not dust and water resistant on their own.
