Insert text and special characters

To enter text:

1. To enter a word, you can either input each letter individually, or select from a list of predicted words when an arrow appears, by pressing the Navigation key downwards.
2. If the word you want is not in the list, select Options > Spell word, then type the word and press Save.

To shift between lower-case and upper-case letters:

• Press the Shift key in the lower left corner.

To turn on caps lock:

• Before you enter text, press the Shift key until A appears at the top of the screen.

To enter numbers or characters using the Mode toggle key:

• When you enter text, press the green Mode toggle key in the bottom left corner. Press the associated key featuring characters of the same colour. For example, press the Mode toggle key once, then press the T key to enter “1″.

To lock and unlock the mode toggle key:

1. Press the Mode toggle key twice, then enter text by pressing the associated key featuring characters of the same colour.
2. To unlock the Mode toggle key, press it again.

To insert symbols or smileys:

1. When you enter text, press the Symbols key. A list of symbols appears.
2. Select the symbol or symbols you want to insert.
3. To type accented characters, press the letter key, then press the Symbols key until the required character appears.
